Previously, ZR indicated tyres capable of speeds over 150 mph. Modern tyres now use specific ratings such as:
W - up to 168 mph
Y - up to 186 mph
Some tyres - still show ZR alongside these ratings.
Tyres marked M+S (Mud and Snow) have tread patterns designed to improve traction in muddy, wet, and light snow conditions.
They are suitable for year-round UK use.
M+S does not indicate full winter certification (3PMSF).
